The Role of the Arts in the Training

The Heart of Teaching training recognises the vital importance of the arts in education. Working on a daily basis with their transformative power enables students to grow and develop so that they may become inspiring teachers of the future.

Painting, Music, Speech and Drama, Blackboard Drawing and Eurythmy all form part of the weekly timetable for student teachers. Student are invited to take part in school choirs and ensembles, plays and festivals and to enjoy the rich and varied cultural life of this well established school and local community.
